Great news. With help from my brother I was able to acquire the cockpit of D-ABOD Lufthansa 707 built in 1960! This is the very last Lufthansa cockpit in original configuration, and one of the oldest in existence. With all parts and panels I have from D-ABUD and UF (N88ZL) I will be able to rebuild it to original Lufthansa standard with accurate P/N and correct panels. After many setbacks to aquire a Lufthansa cockpit this time it finally worked! Even the seats are original from D-ABOD – the same seat my dad sat on when he flew the aircraft in 1976!
