Boeing 707 cockpit arrived!!

Today I took delivery of the Boeing 707 cockpit I have been dreaming of for many many years. This former Saudi Arabian Airlines 707 (HZ-ACI) will become Lufthansa’s B707 D-ABUD/UF (N88ZL) with all panels, most gauges and other parts coming from these two aircraft. My father did his entire 707 training on D-ABUD making it a very special project for me liker the Caravelle  “Poitou” that my mother once flew on as a flight attendant. This cockpit will serve as a basis of a 100% working flight simulator simulating in great detail the Boeing 707-330B in Lufthansa configuration.
This project has been made possible by Tom Vaughan, “Mr. 707”. Having flown, maintained and owned 707s in the past 40 years he was kind enough to support my project. He owns the cockpit of OD-AHE (former AA and MEA) and we will be working together closely exchanging knowledge and skills to convert both our simulators to state of the art & super high fidelity times machines. Join us on this great adventure!
